The business founded in 2017 by Rich Heppell, in just three years we have grown from a team of one, to a team of 11 with a national network of partners by our side to assist on projects and keep labour costs down for our clients, but still allowing them to have the high quality standards Art of Smart have become recognised for on their projects.

After 11 years working in the electrical industry I decided to make a move into the smart home industry. I decided to pick a platform and get to know it inside out – this platform was Control4. In under three years we have managed to bring the business to the level where we are recognised as Control4s highest volume dealer in 2020 and also won the Control4 Circle of Excellence award in 2019. We are also a Control4 Platinum dealer. In a nut shell – we know the product inside out.

I have built my business on reputation and by only employing people that share the same vision and want to do the best possible job. We hire for passion and I have been very ‘lucky’ to have surrounded myself with a brilliant team who all love what they do.
